This policy explains what personal information J12 collects through j12.ai, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. "J12," "we" and "us" means Mendoza Consulting Ventures LLC, 8236 Elion Street, Orlando, Florida 32827.

What we collect
What you give us
- When you join the waitlist: your name, email, phone number and what you do (for example UGC creator or business owner), so we can tell you when your spot opens.
- When you book a demo: your name, email, phone number, business name, social handles, and your answers to the booking questions (for example, how you make content now). If you join the waitlist first, the booking form starts with your name, email and phone already filled in. The booking form is run by iClosed.
- When you email us: whatever you include in the message.
- On the call: what you tell us about your business and content. We record demo calls with Fathom and may use other AI note-takers. We'll ask for your permission at the start of the call, and we won't record if you say no.
What's collected automatically
- Basic server logs from our host, Vercel: IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of the visit. These are used to keep the site running and secure.
- Where you came from: if you reach j12.ai from a link with tracking tags (UTM tags, which name the post, ad or email that sent you), we save those tags with your waitlist sign-up and your demo booking, so we know what brought you here.
- Partner referrals: if a J12 partner sent you to j12.ai with their referral link, our referral tool (FirstPromoter) records that link, and when you join the waitlist it links your email to that partner, so they get credit if you later become a customer.
Cookies
j12.ai uses one kind of cookie of its own: a referral cookie from FirstPromoter that remembers which partner link brought you here, so that partner gets credit. It doesn't track you across other sites, and it isn't used for ads. Apart from that, the site keeps your UTM tags and the details you type into the waitlist form in your browser's session storage only until you close the tab, so it can pass them to the booking calendar. The booking calendar (iClosed) and any embedded video player (such as Vimeo, Wistia or YouTube) may set their own cookies when they load. Their own privacy policies cover those cookies.
How we use it

- To schedule and run your demo call, and to follow up about the founding beta.
- To text you about your waitlist spot and your demo call.
- To reply to your messages.
- To decide whether the beta is a fit for your business.
- To see which posts, ads and links bring people to J12.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To meet legal obligations.
If we send you marketing emails, every one has an unsubscribe link, and we stop when you use it.
Text messages
If you give us your phone number, we may text you about your waitlist spot and your demo call, such as confirmations and reminders. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop getting them, or HELP for help. We don't sell your phone number, and we don't share your number or your consent to get texts with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run J12, under their own privacy and security terms:

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist sign-ups, booking and call information for as long as we're talking with you about J12, and for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you. Email support@j12.ai and we'll reply within 30 days. We won't treat you differently for asking.
California residents have these rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what we collect and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don't sell or share it in that sense.
If you're in the EU, EEA or UK, we process your information to take steps you've asked for before entering a contract (booking and running your demo) and for our legitimate interest in running and securing the site. You can also object to processing, ask for a copy of your data in a portable format, and complain to your local data protection authority. Some of our providers are in the United States, so your information may be transferred there.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit who on our team can see your information. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security.
Children
j12.ai and the beta are for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll email the people on our waitlist and anyone who's booked a call.
