These terms cover your use of j12.ai. The site is run by Mendoza Consulting Ventures LLC ("J12," "we," "us"). By using the site, joining the waitlist or booking a call, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site.

1. What this site is

j12.ai describes J12, our platform for scripting, editing, clipping and posting video, and lets you join the founder waitlist and book a demo call. You must be 18 or older to join the waitlist or book a call. Joining the waitlist or booking a call doesn't create a contract, and it doesn't guarantee you access to J12 or a particular price.

2. The founding beta

If you join the beta, a separate written agreement covers it, including price, scope, timing and support. If that agreement and these terms disagree, the agreement wins. Beta software is still being built: features may change, break or be removed, and access is at our discretion.

3. Results

The client numbers on this site (videos produced, clips made, followers gained) are what those clients reported to us. They aren't typical and aren't a promise. What you get depends on your content, how much you record and post, your audience and things we don't control. We don't guarantee any views, followers, leads or revenue.

4. AI output

J12's tools use AI to write scripts, edit video, pick clips, write hooks and captions, and schedule posts. AI makes mistakes. It can mishear words, cut at the wrong moment or suggest something that isn't accurate. You're responsible for reviewing anything before it's posted, and for what you choose to publish.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of your videos, calls and other material. You give us permission to use them only to provide the services you've asked for. You confirm you have the rights and permissions needed for everything you give us, including consent from anyone who appears or speaks in your recordings, and a parent's or guardian's consent for anyone under 18. If you connect social accounts so J12 can post for you, connect only accounts you're allowed to manage, and follow the rules of each platform you post to.

6. Our content

The site, its design, text, videos, software and the J12 name belong to J12 or its licensors. Don't copy, resell or reuse them without our written permission. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC. J12 isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic. Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and X are trademarks of their owners, and J12 isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them. Other product names belong to their owners.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use the site to break the law, to send spam or malware, to scrape it in bulk, to try to get into systems you're not allowed into, or to interfere with how it works.

8. Texts and emails

If you give us your phone number, you agree that we can text you about your waitlist spot and your demo call. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop or HELP for help. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time with the link in each one.

9. Other services

The site uses services run by other companies, such as the iClosed booking calendar and embedded video players. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to them, and we aren't responsible for them.

10. Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing on this site is legal, financial or tax advice.

11. Limit on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, J12 isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or followers, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to $100.

12. Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against J12 because of content you gave us or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
